How do I claim my events?

Geek Calendar staff search the internet to find events and post them on GeekCal.com. If you run an event or you are a promoter for an event and you find your event on the site, you can claim that event. Claiming and editing events is a good idea bacause our staff generally just enters the basic information for each event. Obvioulsy providing additional detail can be helpful.

Follow the directions below to Claim events:

1. You must log in or register (free).

2. Navigate to your event (Use the search box)

3. Click the claim button on the Event Header

4. Enter information in the text box that will allow us to verify that you own this event.

5. Click Submit

6. We will email you to let you know when your claim in complete. Please allow 24 hours for us to turn the claim around.

Only events entered by Geekcal.com staff can be claimed using the Claim button. If you find an event that you run or promote but did not enter on Geekcal.com and the Claim botton is not displayed on that particular event, please contact support@geekcal.com. Please provide detailed information regarding why you should be able to claim the event. Remember you must be logged in to claim an event.
