South Texas Horror Con is an Annual event in tropical South Texas where fans of the Horror and Sci-Fi genres as well as Pop Culture lovers gather to celebrate among their friends and Movie and TV stars they have grown up watching. The McAllen Convention Center EVENT HALL “B” where STHC will be held holds almost 5000 people. Some of the things you can expect are Guest Speakers, Panels on Writing books & Movies, Cinematic FX Make-Up tutorials, Ghost Hunting experts, live Tattooing and piercing from many local Tattoo Studios, Costume Contests, Video Game Tournaments on a 35 foot screen, a Masquerade Ball dubbed “THE MASQUERAVE” feat: DJ MORBID and FIRE SPINNERS, Autograph sessions & panels with Movie and TV Stars, costume vendors, Collectibles, tons of people in costumes, a live SUSPENSION show and more events are added everyday.
