Celebrate your inner geek at Ba-Con

Ba-Con, the celebration of technology, geeks, games and all things BACON is back for a second helping June 29th-July 1st at the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Now in its second year, Ba-Con is a conference & trade show targeted to those interested in technology, internet culture, games (classic arcade style, modern console & tabletop/trading card), and yes, everyone’s favorite meat treat; bacon. Josh Grumble, the convention chair, says “Ba-Con is about the underlying social media outlets that bring geeks together, and celebrates all of those interests.: Ba-Con offers a little bit of everything, from learning about DIY technology projects, gaming, Tweeting, social media and yes, even bacon and bacon products to try in the hospitality suite.

Ba-Con will feature several guests to give attendees an idea of what its like to embrace your inner techie and “feed your geek”. The guest list includes such personalities as the cast & crew of webseries Aidan 5, Jennie Breeden, the creator of popular webcomic “The Devil’s Panties”, sci-fi/fantasy artist Jeff Carlisle, and actor Jason Carter of Babylon-5.
