About me

My name is Emil Novak Sr. I have been in the comic book business since 1969. Queen City Bookstore is the name. Our convention is a 1-day event, some call it a "real' comic convention in the traditional sense, with mostly product retailing and some special guests. We include, comics, horror, SF, artwork, toys, etc. We don't over load the day with distractions from retailing. For us at QC it's all about the product and fandom. Future shows will be 2-day events.
