Press Release: Anime Boston, the largest anime convention in New England, announced its first round of guests today. Voice actors Christopher Ayres, Caitlin Glass, and Carli Mosier will be Guests of Honor at Anime Boston on April 6-8.

Christopher Ayres has been working professionally in theatre, television and film since the age of 6. Currently a voice actor for ADV Films and FUNimation Entertainment, Ayres is also an ADR Director for ADV Films and Amusement Park Media. His first project at studio was the hit anime musical comedy The Nerima Daikon Brothers. His other voice acting roles are Kei Kourono in Gantz, Suitengu in Speed Grapher, Von Kampher in Trinity Blood, Hayashimizu in Full Metal Panic? Fummofu, Johnny in One Piece, Sid in Devil May Cry, Yusuf Ali Mesa in Yugo the Negotiator and Koji in Godanner.

Best known for the role of Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist, Caitlin Glass has been working in the anime industry since 2004 as a voice actress and ADR director. Most recently, she has played Hanna Annafellows in Black Butler II, Eila in Strike Witches, Kyoko in Initial D: 4th Stage (FUNimation), Mawari in My Bride is a Mermaid and Maya Ibuki in Neon Genesis Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone and 2.0 You May (Not) Advance. Other well-known roles include: Chachamaru & Chisame/Chiu in Negima, Deneve in Claymore, Dhianeila in Heroic Age, Kaori in Kanon, Hiyono in Spiral, LaLa in D.Gray Man, Miria in Baccano, Miss Anderson in Shin-chan, Nerine in Shuffle!, Saya in Black Cat, Sumomo in Sergeant Frog, Triela in Gunslinger Girl, Vivi in One Piece (FUNimation) and Yakumo in School Rumble.

Voice actress Carli Mosier is excited to attend her second Anime Boston. Mosier began developing her love of acting at age 6 and graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, TX. She attended the musical theatre program at the University of Houston and continued on in film and stage productions throughout the Houston area.

In 2004, after years in the theatre, she began working at ADV Films, appearing in such shows as Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok as Tsubasa Maijima and Godannar as Kei. However, she is best known for her performance as the sexy Detective Yukika in Nerima Daikon Brothers. She also appears as Student Council President Yuri Kurosu in Magikano and Daisy in Halo: Legends.

Mosier has also worked for Funimation, starting out there singing the closing credit song Before Dawn in One Piece and voicing smaller characters in Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Sgt. Frog. She has also voiced Aunt Bitzi in Shin Chan, Akira Yoshii in Baka and Test and Astraea in Heaven’s Lost Property. She was mostly recently cast as the Narrator and Prophetess in Sentai FilmWorks’ Night Raid: 1931.
