The Geek Media Expo is happy to announce that GMX: Volume 3 is scheduled for Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23, 2011, at its new location, the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel.
This change in venue reflects the growing attendance of this convention. According to convention chairman Lucas Leverett, "While we enjoyed two good years of foundation and growth with the Radisson Opryland, our needs have exceeded the limitations of the property." The convention will make use of the Maxwell House's excellent layout to continue the open-air and socially friendly environment that attendees have come to enjoy, and feature events using the top floor Crown Ballroom and its breathtaking glass-walled views of the city.
The convention will continue to feature events like the Pin-Up contest, Music City Zombie Walk, room party competition, charity auction and much more. There will also be a wide variety of guests from many different genres of geek media, including many of your favorite television shows, movies, books and comics.
Hotel room rates for congoers will be $99 per night, and pre-registration for the weekend will be available soon online for $25 per person for the whole weekend. For more information about Geek Media Expo, please visit its website at http://WhatIsGMX.net.
