The first ever Kapow! Comic Con was announced for 2011, via promotional video, which you can catch below. Mark Millar announces the event which will be held in Central London April 19th - 20th and feature a long list of guests. The lineup currently includes Frank Quitely, Mark Millar, Leinil Yu, Dave Gibbons, Bryan Hitch, Olivier Coipel, Brian Bolland, Andy Diggle, Jock, David Lloyd, Kieron Gillen, John Romita Jr., Liam Sharp, John McCrea, Sean Phillips, Adi Granov and Chris Weston.
Additionally, the Kapow! Comic Con will be hosting the first ever annual Stan Lee Awards.
KAPOW! COMIC CON is hosting the first ever annual STAN LEE AWARDS and with categories including ‘Best Comic’, ‘Best Superhero or SciFi Movie’ and ‘Best Comic Book Hero’ this is one award show not to be missed. Our shortlist of nominees is being put together by a team of judges from comics, movies, magazine publishing and retailing including Mike Rampton at Front Magazine, Chris Hewitt at Empire Magazine and Jonah Weiland & Kiel Phegley from Comic Book Resources website, Damon Lindelof, Al Murray and Forbidden Planet Megastore London and will be available for you to cast your vote on from end of January 2011- kapowcomiccon.com
