On Saturday Marvel officially announced the cast for the upcoming Avengers movie. The Avengers movie which is slated to open May of 2012 has been in the spotlight recently because of the news that Edward Norton would not be playing the Hulk. Saturday Marvel announced that Mark Ruffalo would play the part of Bruce Banner. Additionally, the Avengers movie logo was also announced and is shown below.
The Avengers movie is being directed by Joss Whedon and will star Robert Downey Jr., Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo.
