Press Release: Long Beach Comic and Horror Con and Golden Apple are pleased to announce a deal for an Incredible Hulk exclusive cover variant from Marc Silvestri, Jason Aaron and Sunny Cho. The eye-popping cover was created by featured Long Beach Comic Con show guest, Whilce Portacio. Long Beach Comic and Horror Con will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center October 29 & 30.

Press Release: Long Beach Comic Con, October 29 and 30 is proud to announce Comic Icon, David Finch is attending this year’s Long Beach Comic Con!

Finch, whose incredible career which began at Top Cow Productions, includes a stint with Marvel and then in 2010 he became an exclusive artist at DC Comics. Over the last ten years he has worked on Cyberforce, Ultimate X-Men, World War Hulk and now Batman: The Dark Knight, among many other high profile titles and story arcs. He will be on hand both Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 for signings and to talk comics with fans.

"I'm thrilled to be attending the Long Beach Convention,” said Finch. He added, “The fans are always so great in California.”

David Finch has been a comics powerhouse over the last ten years. His body of work is remarkable,” said Phil Lawrence, Director of the Long Beach Comic Con. long-beach-comic-con_thumbMAD Event Management is proud to announce Bruce Boxleitner will be a featured guest at this year’s Long Beach Comic Con.  The convention in its second year at the Long Beach Convention Center (LBCC) welcomes the Sci-Fi Icon to the rapidly growing event.  Boxleitner, well known to fans is reprising his role as Alan Bradley in the highly anticipated TRON sequel, TRON: Legacy from Disney due out December 17, 2010.  With over a hundred film and television credits to his name highlighted by his long run as Captain John Sheridan on the TNT series Babylon 5 as well as its subsequent television movies Boxleitner is sure to be a hit with attendees.   Additionally, joining the show is convention fan favorite Corin Nemec, star of cult favorite hits like “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” and his role as Jonas Quinn in Stargate SG1.  Making a return appearance to Long Beach is Hung star Thomas Jane who thrilled fans at last year’s show with his incredible energy on the show floor.

“We are very excited that Bruce is coming to Long Beach.  He is a fan favorite and that is who we create this show for,” said event planner Martha Donato, President of MAD Event Management.  “Planning the show over Halloween weekend will also give us some great new opportunities to enhance the show for fans of all ages.”

Currently scheduled to exhibit on the show floor are Aspen Comics, Boom!
