I have been going to Gencon for 7 years now and I have to say this is the event I look forward to.

It is Huge! Taking over the Indianapolis Convention center, as well as several hotels, this is the biggest Convention I go to.

Pro: Games Games everywhere! True Dungeon; Huge Dealers room (Event hall); Killer Panels (I have spent entire conventions going to their panels); Sky walk Air conditioned walkways to just about all parts of the convention.

Cons: It is so huge you will never be able to do it all; pricey ($65+ to get in, plus you have to buy tickets to get into the various games and other activities, Panels are mostly all free though); Parking (Expect to pay like $20 a day for parking, unless you don't mind walking several blocks)

The Pros on this one very out weigh the cons. It is a very fun experience. Also there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the convention, including a Mall food court.

I highly recommend Gencon.
