Since then, it has grown, and expanded into first the small part of the convention center in downtown Phoenix, to the larger venue, and has now gone from one host hotel to two, and the possibility of a third. Attendance has grown, more than doubling in the last five years from less than 10,000 to more than 20,000 in 2011. I always compare it to some of the larger cons, and I believe what I'm seeing is a convention still in its infancy, much the way that Dragon Con was 25 years ago. Come on down to the Valley of the Sun!
